The Setting That Does the Work
Zerzura’s experiences take place in Mleiha National Park, Sharjah. The desert landscape, Fossil Rock and Camel Rock give the visit a setting distinct from the city.
The Faya Palaeolandscape in Mleiha was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2025. The inscription applies to the defined property, not to the whole national park or every buggy route.
The camp’s normal operations are powered by its solar system, with a generator retained for emergency backup. This is a specific operational measure, not a claim that a visit has no environmental impact.
