What a dinner at Zerzura is

Dinner at the Zerzura camp in Mleiha National Park: our signature four-course menu, with each course drawn from one of Mleiha’s four historical eras — the Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Pre-Islamic period. Arabic and Emirati cuisine, served to your table at a solar-powered camp in open, protected desert. Numbers are kept low, so it reads as an evening out in the desert, not a packed tour stop. Optional live entertainment — fire show, live musicians, cultural performances — can be added. A welcome drink and fresh juices are included, and every dietary requirement is catered. As it’s in Sharjah, the camp is dry — alcohol-free.

Why Zerzura, not a safari dinner camp

Most desert dinner options near Dubai run as high-volume safari camps: large groups, buffet lines, a fixed show on rotation. Zerzura is the opposite — a low-density camp in a protected national park in Sharjah, 45 minutes from Dubai, with space, quiet, and real dunes around you.

Where it is — Mleiha, 45 minutes from Dubai

The camp sits inside Mleiha National Park, about 45–60 minutes from Downtown Dubai and also reachable from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Open desert and protected land — the setting a standard Dubai desert safari can’t offer. Guests drive themselves to the camp. The route is normal paved road, so any regular car makes it there — no 4x4 or high-clearance vehicle needed.
